Meet the Founder
Joy Thomas
Founder, MS Digital Skill Hub
Joy Thomas is a digital professional, educator, and lifelong learner whose journey has been shaped by curiosity, grit, and a commitment to continuous growth.
Her connection to education began at a very young age. Growing up with a mother who owned a school, Joy was surrounded by teaching and learning from childhood. She started teaching when she was just five years old, and what began as part of her upbringing gradually became a defining part of who she is.
Joy went on to study Microbiology at the Federal University of Technology, Minna (FUT Minna). While her academic background is in science, her curiosity continually pushed her beyond the boundaries of her degree and into new areas of learning.
In 2021, she began her journey as a Virtual Assistant. Much of her expertise was built through self-directed learning, research, practice, and a willingness to figure things out. She later joined ALX, further developing her digital and professional skills.
Her desire to understand technology from different perspectives also led her to study Product Management through the 3MTT programme, where she gained a deeper understanding of products, users, technology, and problem-solving.
Today, Joy continues to learn and evolve. She is currently exploring the world of engineering, with a particular focus on AI-native software engineering through Learn2Earn.
